I am reminded of the WayoftheBern sub on reddit. It was founded back in 2016 by Trumpists. Masstagger and other tools worked on reddit, so it was very easy to see that the active accounts on that sub was active on the Trump subs well.
WayoftheBern was meant to pose as a Bernie Sanders fan sub, but instead it only contained posts about how bad the Democrats are, nothing else at all. It was an attempt at divide and conquer, but the fascists never really learnt how to convincingly pose as Bernie Sanders fans, but instead used the same rhetoric and vocabulary as they did on the Trump subs. They did once manage to convince an actual Bernie Sanders campaigner to hold an AMA there, but the person must quickly have realised their error and that was the full extent of that subs collaboration with Bernie Sanders.
Same goes with so many socialist or leftist communities here. One would expect criticism of the current oligarch fascists running the US, or about active constructive socialist policies. But instead it is nothing but memes about the Democrats. I mean, the Democrats are pretty pathetic, but that is just the point, they are pathetic and definitely not the ones currently actively speedrunning the US into Holocaust.
