minus-squaregivesomefuckslinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up6·8 months agoIts gonna be super fucking weird if they actually name the show “Baldur’s gate 3”… Waaaaaay more like it’s just called “Baldur’s Gate”, and why Larian pulled off the best story, that “universe” has existed for like 30-40 years. The game brought it back to the forefront of public attention. But there’s a reason an up and coming studio fresh off a successful IP series sunk a decade into something they don’t own the rights too. They should definitely have brought at least some of the games writers on as consultants tho. But writing a game and show are different.
Its gonna be super fucking weird if they actually name the show “Baldur’s gate 3”…
Waaaaaay more like it’s just called “Baldur’s Gate”, and why Larian pulled off the best story, that “universe” has existed for like 30-40 years.
