I mean he has the best album of any of them by far with “All Things Must Pass” so I don’t know how this could even be a controversial statement. I would go so far to say that if All Things Must Pass were three seperate albums, he would have the top 3 best Post-Beatles albums. I don’t even know what would be number 4. Probably Ram, or Band on the Run I guess, because all of Lennon’s solo albums suck (Plastic Ono is ok, but wouldn’t make top 10).
He also wrote a bunch of their absolute, top shelf songs. While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Something, Here Comes the Sun, Within You Without You. He doesn’t have the largest repertoire in Beatles catalog, but has a damn good track record of quality stuff.
