Well now I’m confused, that list says some instances allow NSFW but when you check their instance rules it says they don’t

There’s a difference between “not safe for work” (posts which may involve nudity, drug use, or violence, among other subjects) and outright pornography.
Its okay to have skimpy or 18+ photos and content, just not for the purpose of porn.
Lots of places like that on Reddit too, especially in dark humor accepting areas.
