Played a little of multiple games, so slow and steady progress in all of them.

Got another power up and killed another boss in Darksiders 3. The main story is that we are hunting the 7 sins (we are told this in first scene, so not really a spoiler), and if I am not forgetting any, I have killed 4 of them. I doubt the story would be so simple but unless it changes dramatically, I am guessing 3 more sins, then probably 1 or 2 more bosses at least. So probably around halfway through.

Cleared an area and reached the next boss in Xuan Yuan Sword: Mists Beyond the Mountains. This game can be confusing at times. I was stuck at a place and couldn’t figure out what to do. The main goal was to “go to the watchtower and look out”, but nothing happened when I went there. After exploring the whole map twice, it turned out, I had to talk to a guy on the way, who will give me a telescope or something, and then I have to go to watchtower, but there was no mention of that any where. Not even some narration like, “I’ll need something with which I can look out” or anything. It’s an old game though, so I guess some things like these are to be expected.

The story is interesting, and it’s kinda refreshing to see a different cultural look at the world. For instance, You meet a group of people who are from “Islamic Navy”, and captain is a woman so the protagonist asks something like, “I heard that Arab women are supposed to cover their face”, and there is a little chat about that.

Cleared all the main missions till level 10 in Tom Clancy’s The Division, but now there are no main missions that match our levels, so will probably be doing some side stuff until we can level up for those. Main goal was to just clear the main game and ignore the side stuff, but Ubisoft won’t let us do that.

Played a little of Hard West, and cleared the second chapter of the Campaign. The main Campaign path has 4 chapters, plus one prequel, and then there seems to be a separtae campaign with 4 chapters. Each chapter has some 4-5 missions, so not a very long game.

What about all of you? What have you been playing and/or plan to play?

Nope, I’m not a hype kind of guy. I want a title and release date, then nothing else until it’s out. I didn’t even want to see the starters but it’s unavoidable unfortunately.

I have no idea about Pokopia, it looks vaguely Animal Crossing-y but I’ve never really played that either. Hopefully it’s fun. I don’t buy enough full price games to really care about that, maybe 1-2 a year. If I mainly played games on console I’m sure I’d have to be a little more frugal.

Yeah, I am kind of same. If I am sure I am going to play a game, I don’t watch or read more about it.

I am a very patient gamer, other than Nintendo first party games and some very few exceptions, I rarely buy games day-1 (or even year-1, or year-5). Even then, when I do buy them they should feel worth the price. I don’t care much about the length, bought Metroid Dread on launch and was happy with what I got.

So, going to check some reviews and then decide. Would love to hear your opinion about it when you get it.
