minus-squareBINdrangea4linkfedilink1•1 year agoIIRC, people created subreddits and used them as personal blogs. So I don’t see why you can’t create a blog/community here. I don’t understand why people are suggesting Mastodon to do that. I thought there was a word limit per post.

Some instances of Mastodon have a very large character limit (don’t know if there are instances without limits).

You could check out Calckey.social which has a limit of 4000 characters I believe. Maybe that is better for personal blog?
