I don’t understand the religious backing for this. Do they think God would be like “oh, shit, my bad, I forgot the universe runs on Western time, not my time, thanks for accelerating the apocalypse! And nvm it was you who made my creation a horrible place to live in, you’ll be rewarded regardless!”. When ignorance, amorality, perspectivism and religion mix, this is what happens?
