    Eating less meat and more plants is going to naturally push people towards more fiber. With the added benefit of helping the environment and reducing odds of heart disease as well.

        I the nurse’s defense they are not a nutritionist. Throwing additional fiber into your diet is quicker and easier than reevaluating your entire diet.

          That said, if you’re having issues both may be wise. And you want both soluble and insoluble fiber, so you’ll want to eat a variety of plants.
