Iran's sports minister said playing in the tournament is out of the question as the U.S. bombing campaign continues.

On Wednesday, the country’s sports minister, Ahmad Donyamali, told state television that the country’s team would not participate in the tournament in the U.S. “considering this corrupt regime has assassinated our leader,” according to the New York Times.

    Every other country should stay home too. This is little different from having the Cup in Russia while they are in an illegal war against Ukraine.
    FIFA too is a bunch of criminals. There can be no doubt about it, when they arrange a special FIFA peace price to give to Trump, that is 100% bribery, meaning FIFA engaged openly in corruption of a political leader.
