i used to like going to american libertarian conferences and winding up the gold standard and fiat money people. “if money doesn’t mean anything, can i have your wallet” was always a good one.

Hahaha, that’s brilliant! But my point was more like money is part of a complex system, and I see something very very concerning happening and I’m worried.

The rules of the game are widely becoming recognized by the average person as something is not quite right. The people in power tell us the rules. But we watch them and they break those rules all the time. Causes cognitive dissonance on a global scale. Mass disillusionment in all government systems.

Money is part of that system. People start to say, hey, the rules are lies, money wealth and status are just bullshit distractions, I’m gonna go paint a sunset and take a nap instead of… Work 80 hours for slave wages.

I mean I looked at the system and instantly opted out. I retired at 39 because I saw the system was stupid and ran out the door as soon as I figured out where they hid it.

      Sorry for rambling!

I’m lucky enough to not have any dependents and so I just skirt by with my mostly part-time gig that makes just enough to keep me afloat. My stress levels have never been lower.
