So block the US based communities? You can’t expect the Denver community to not post news relating to them just because you don’t want to see it.

You have the power to not see it, by either blocking who you don’t want to see or subscribing to the communities you do want to see and only viewing your subscription list. Don’t come to the Denver community and bitch about seeing Denver based news.

So don’t browse All? I never use all, because it’s full of stuff I’m not interested in. Don’t browse all and complain to the communities that show up that you don’t want to see them. It’s still completely in your power.

E.g. When I first joined lemmy, all I saw was SFW furry communities. I have no interest in that and desperately did not want it in my feed. Guess what, I blocked them and am much happier with my feed. I’m the one with the power to control what I see and what I block.

i agree with what u say: but its also a struggle to cycle through hundreds of communities, and us news are just biaised, full of blood and violence and easily susceptible to politics. anyway, i just like to vent off while moderation is still loose, i really dont enjoy being banned for the smallest fart,
