I keep saying this, but I have come to the conclusion that the Russian-Ukrainian war and now the American/Israeli attack on Iran have precluded any further movement toward nuclear disarmament. If Ukraine still had their nukes, Russia would have thought twice about invading. If Iran had nukes, and I’m not saying they actually want them or deserve them, Israel and the US would have thought twice about attacking.
It’s literally the only way for countries to remain independent in the face of America’s trillions in military investments, which was much less of a concern before psychopaths like Trump were elected in by the dumbest, most selfish electorate known to man.
