We were evil to do it, and shouldn’t have. But the Nazis killed an estimated 16 million people systematically. Even the highest estimates of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were 300,000, even if extrapolating that suffering 10 times over doesn’t come close.
I’m not defending it, I’m just saying objectively that Nazis out deviled us by the numbers.
