Thanks for explaining. While I am way against cars, I don’t see another alternative in that situation. I think I got the poor image of you from your original comment and your user. I’d just recommend getting a car with better efficiency or a hybrid maybe.
The solution is not trying to live like a fucking feudal lord on his fucking plantation and expecting everyone else to pay to clean up the mess he makes driving 4 hours 6 times a week just to get fucking groceries.
Oh don’t worry, we’ll all just keep subsidizing your selfish ass until everyone here is dead. Don’t make changes to your lifestyle, changing is hard and you can just keep robbing the commons.

Yes, fuck cars, but I’ve lived away from everything before, and driving is basically the only solution for commutes, unfortunately. Maybe getting an EV or hybrid would’ve helped the solution.
