Neutrals may recall Arsenal’s title success for long throws, corners and VAR, but was their approach merely a means to an end?

As Champions. It’s as simple as that. Was Chelsea under Mourinho remembered ‘with an asterisk’ for parking the bus and hitting in the counter? No. They were tightly remembered as legit champions. Same with Leeds United Way back in the day.

Winning a title is often about fine margins, about utilizing unique strengths and exploiting weaknesses. Nothing this Arsenal team has done is against the rules (the argument that we used ‘dark arts’ or played dirty compared to everyone else is bullshit). We just found ways of getting more points after 3 seasons of playing ‘pretty’ football and finishing 2nd.

Additionally, anyone who says we didn’t play any pretty football this season hasn’t watched any highlights.
