Is snap really that easy to apply for? I was looking into it a while ago and I thought you had to provide proof of income (or lack thereof) and shit. Maybe I need to change my viewpoint here
You do need to provide proof of income (or lack thereof). It’s not hard to do. Also don’t have more than 3k in your bank account. Which if these things are true then you are the exact people SNAP is for. Basically if you go to your local human resources office (or create an account online) you just fill out the application and provide the asked for documents.
That sounds like what I remember. Which isn’t a prohibitive amount of work, but for the individuals that snap is for it’s likely closer than many of us realize
