I’ve had my run-ins with mods but I’ve always respected the ‘janitorial’ work they do on reddit and usually remember to thank them for that even when I’m arguing against some decision they made. Mods are critical to reddit, that should be obvious, and that it isn’t obvious to spez, one of reddit’s two co-founders, shows just how stupid and arrogant he is. He’s going to end up killing the whole site because, while the majority of users may not be revolting, I believe the majority of mods are or will soon be, as this crisis deepens.
This whole drama has really killed my enjoyment of Reddit as a whole …spazs attitude towards mods being pretty much disposable is disgusting.
