Fuck spez and I won’t be going back to r/Brisbane or any other subreddit from now on
So it will either be this community or whatever other one manages some sort of ‘critical mass’ that will get my participation in chat about Brisbane going forward
I’ve had my run-ins with mods but I’ve always respected the ‘janitorial’ work they do on reddit and usually remember to thank them for that even when I’m arguing against some decision they made. Mods are critical to reddit, that should be obvious, and that it isn’t obvious to spez, one of reddit’s two co-founders, shows just how stupid and arrogant he is. He’s going to end up killing the whole site because, while the majority of users may not be revolting, I believe the majority of mods are or will soon be, as this crisis deepens.

Yep, same. I used to mod /r/brisbane, but my reddit account is now history! There is no going back
This whole drama has really killed my enjoyment of Reddit as a whole …spazs attitude towards mods being pretty much disposable is disgusting.
Yep.
