Not a fan of the art for some reason, but it’s been getting great reviews. I’ll have to add it to my list eventually.
They’re trying to evoke the Game Boy Color specifically, hence the smaller sprites and denser screens. I can see why some may not like it but I find it nostalgic
I know what you mean. The in game, miniaturized sprites look gorgeous but there’s something about the mouse’s face that bothers me. People are saying the game is great though!
Same here, didn’t like art style originally, but after watching some reviews, it has started to grow on me.
