There is this scene in the first episode that hooked me.
A museum tour guide is showing this guy around and talking about the town’s history and at one point there is a wall depicting burning witches and she says something like:
“Oh that’s a bit of the town’s pride. we found all the witches and burned them”.
It just gets better with every episode. Apple tv but I pirate everything so.

Rick and Morty season 9
Just watched The Burroughs . Was decent.
And The Burbs remake series. Also decent.
Nothing exceptional but I like quirky casts and it has that guy from “dream corp llc” and “what we do in the shadows”. I really like his character.
He does the same character in everything but I still dig it.
I’m about to wrap up The Burroughs, and have enjoyed it. Nothing ground breaking really, but it’s fun and I appreciate the older cast and one season for a change.
Couple of episodes behind on Widow’s Bay but it is a pretty unique blend of humor, horror, and drama imo, and well worth the watch.
Yeah the casting is pretty good and a solid show. I too enjoy one off seasons. I feel like the writing is often more concise and pacing is better when they aren’t trying to build up a bunch of unanswered questions to get people to watch the next season.

That’s what I was thinking
The acting is really good, especially the mayor. The story feels a little disjointed at times but I really like it.
I loved that party episode.
The twist really caught me off guard.
The first two episodes have been great! Hope they can keep it up.
