Tried a different painting method to try and capture the density of the fog. I also added a character not in the reference image in an attempt to ground us in the scene. Thoughts?

Oh odd that you see it that way. I can usually tell when it is your art that is posted. Which I’d say is me noticing your style.
Like you’re definitely playing around with different subjects and lighting and stuff, but there is a collection of characteristics that I imagine you’d have to pretty thoughtfully subvert to throw me off of noticing you.
What would you say you are still figuring out / haven’t found yet?
