    I don’t know about this but I do know I have been worried about something and then forgot what I was worried about but still continued to worry in a general non-specific way out of obligation to the process.

      I usually spend 5 minutes retracing my mental steps to figure out what it was, because I have to make sure I keep worrying. Brain, just let it go, goddamnit!

        Unfortunately that last step is a choice that takes a lot of practice to get good at making
