This is great, and more games should do it. I’m not that old but I’ve got a touch of arthritis and trigger finger in one hand. There is no excuse for a lack of difficulty levels and ableist BS about playing the game “as it was meant to be played”. Many games from AAA to indie are guilty of this. I have an in-built hard mode, and mine is pretty mild compared to others.
I completely agree. Let people play how they want. I would love to play through all of dark souls but I don’t have time to git gud. Me lowering the difficulty harms no one else so what’s the point of making them so hard? I understand that multiplayer can’t work this way, but for single player there is no excuse.

I just suck at video games and don’t play to be frustrated. I might use this feature so I can have more fun
