Who even would he “need to be hurting” for this guy? He doesn’t seem like the kind of guy who has a vendetta against a particular group. I think he’s just an ideological voter, who believes in the American dream (he is living it after all), and doesn’t realize that the Republican party is not who they pretended to be back when he was still paying attention.
