i believe it is good that children are kept away from social media apps, they provably have a negative impact on them. but i am not sure a government ban is the right way. i also don’t know how this is enforcible without massively invading people’s privacy.
If its bad for kids, its bad for adults too. Age restrictions don’t address the emotional manipulation systems at hand with corporate social media, and societal well being is obviously not what the state is concerned with anyway.

The removal of online privacy is the only goal.
One of their intentions is to massively invade people’s privacy, so I think they’ll go with that option :)
