    No, it’s out of concern. Batteries in a healthy percentage (around 50%) will last longer. This is why most shipped devices arrive within 45-55% of a charge. It’s concern for the environment and their wallet (more time can go by before having to replace due to long-term capacity loss).

    At least, it is for me.

      Correct, 80-20% is the healthiest range for batteries, but I don’t think it makes too much of a difference to be honest. Then again I replaced the battery of my Nexus 5 in like an hour back a decade ago, but no idea if something like that is still possible
