    Democrats didn’t want to codify abortion any more than Republicans did. For 50 years they sold fear of losing rights while doing nothing to protect them. For years both Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid refused to bring Barbara Boxer’s and Jerry Nadler’s respective bills up for a vote to make it law. In that same 50 years, despite voting, theyve continued to shift to the right to the point of barley being left of people like trump, and did everything in their power to shine the light on him to get him elected.

      I’m not even American and I understand that sort of thing would’ve required a super majority which hasn’t happened since the 1960s.

      But go on and find more ways to be angry at the political opposition not being effective at opposition because not enough people vote for them.

        Since roe vs wade Democrats have had several supermajorities. When Obama came into office the legislation had already been written in the House and Senate for years, they had a supermajority and all it needed was a simple vote, which Pelosi and Reid refused.
