I personally do, he actually risked his life to release information about the government spying on people. And there are for sure more advanced ways now. Even your phone is listening.

My brother. Russia was the literal last place to escape to on his list. No other country would grant him asylum due to direct calls from Obama and Biden (mostly Biden).
so if his goal was to inform Americans to the dangers of a surveillance state, why would he discredit himself by allying with Americas oldest enemy?
why go through all of it, just to throw it away on some frail sense of freedom from Russia?
if he was as righteous as y’all believe him to be, he would have came back and made a mockery of the administration.
He didn’t “ally himself with Russia” he’s not working for Russia to destabilize America. He was forced to hide in Russia by America. Lots of other countries would have willingly taken him without America’s pressure. He had no options apart from decades or life in prison.
He didn’t discredit himself in the eyes of anyone except American’s who bought into the official American media defense strategy, every other country, especially America’s allies who were shocked and appalled by the extent of America’s spying know this. You’re pushing state propaganda.
he stayed in Russia because they were the only country unwilling to extradite him. Russia only allowed this because of the public dunk on American “security”. he was allied with them from the moment he allowed them to use him to smear the American NSA.
He was granted Russian citizenship September 2022. No country would allow a spy citizenship unless they “sold” their secrets.
no, he hid in Russia because he refused to stand up and bring more attention to his cause to the American public. The dude would literally be out of jail by now and could continue the fight against a surveillance state but instead decided to ally with Americas oldest enemy for what?
have you been asleep? that’s just how the world works. he broke laws, ofc he’s going to prison. not only did he break laws, but he let out the biggest secret everybody already knew against the rich and the powerful.
have I mentioned anything about how he was wrong, or immoral? no! he allied himself with the biggest enemy of the American hegemony, FACT. that action allowed the American defense department to discredit him and cast doubt on his leak, FACT. he has lived in Russia since then without any way to support himself financially since 2013, FACT.
how can an American national, who previously worked as a spy, live in a country that is inhospitable to not just Americans, but former American spies, for over a decade without selling information to Russian intelligence operators? oh sorry, “leaking”.
if I’m pushing state propaganda then you’re a Russian operative pushing a narrative.
