Russia said on Monday that Finland’s reversal of its long-standing ban on nuclear weapons requires a response as tensions between NATO and Moscow continue to rise. Finland’s parliament voted on June 17 to lift the ban, which allows the country to receive, transport, and facilitate the movement of nuclear weapons on its territory as part of […]

Fence Russia in? Countries don’t get to expand their borders just cause they want to. And no one is dropping “the bomb” on Russia. That’d be the quickest way to make Fallout a reality.

They were promised no NATO creep, now it’s on their doorstep. And Ukraine should have abided by their agreements. They didn’t.

Sure, but at the same time, why does it matter? The only thing living up to those promises does is keep Russia’s neighbors weaker. How do they actually affect Russia?

“How do these fascist laws USA is passing affect me? The only thing not enacting them does is make USA weaker.”

Making a bad analogy isn’t helping your case. All this makes me think is that you have no defense to what I said.

Aren’t you clever to figure out that’s exactly what you sounded like to me!

It makes Russia weaker, and that’s what your democracies want, like in the global South, so these ever benevolent democracies can plunder the East like they have the South, all for… Less breadcrumbs for the people and more for the techbros. But at least cars can be fueled for a reasonable price and device storage will come down! Maybe. 🤔 All on the backs of the working people Westerners only bother to care about if it makes oligharch-controlled news often enough. But sure, feel clever, I guess.

Fascist Russia is the only country in the area on an imperialistic rampage expanding their borders, after doing the same thing decades ago.

Europe needs to protect itself against Russia, Russia doesn’t need to do shit except stop being horrible people.

How does it make any the NATO states weaker to honor their promises?

This is a waste of time. I’ve already conceded that they should have honored the promises. You can’t even make a minor defense of how breaking them actually affects Russia though. All you can do is try to point blame at others.

And you act like NATO is an invading force/county. These counties WANT to join NATO because of how Russia has been acting.
