Perchance AI Chat - completely free, online, no login, unlimited messages, unlimited AI-generated images. Chat with AI characters via this Character.AI (C.AI) chat alternative. I thought about using DuckDuckGo (which doesn’t require an API to return results), but it only returns a brief search summary or something like that and doesn’t scrape the content.

I used jina.ai because they offer a full, free API with 10 million tokens, so I think that’s more than enough.

Due to many restrictions in ai-character-chat, I won’t be updating the bot anymore (I had to create a context manager and couldn’t use ai-character-chat’s own one, among other limitations). I had intended to implement other features, but I don’t think I’ll be moving forward with that.

The bot is user-friendly for both mobile users (no need to switch between the chat and the window) and PC users (you can disable messages in the window to avoid duplicating messages in both the chat and the window). There’s support for multiple languages in the settings (the “[=]” icon in the footer), among other configuration options.

    Thanks a lot for response. But jina.ai doesn’t work (at least for me) and mostly says this error: “Unavailable For Legal Reasons”. Also I can’t contact their support staff.

      take this key for testing: jina_4cefc39c7f9c4e5e99ffabf239a709b4J1Z5UwXFlX-iw5hg3csfGGruBTo7 (will expire soon). Getting an “Unavailable For Legal Reasons” error when trying to access Jina AI usually means your IP address is in a restricted region, or you have hit a security block. try using a vpn to create your account there, or something like that. You only need the vpn to access the site and create your account. after that, you won’t need it anymore. If it’s too much trouble, I understand. it’s not like I’m asking you to do this just to test a bot.

        Thanks a lot for replying. It worked a little (2 answers for 2 of my questions), however thanks. Now I don’t know how to use a new key. Also it seems this agent at the web can’t pass simple content warning which can be passed easily for example by regular search engines.
