Ford just admitted that it scrambled to rehire former employees and find new technicians after its AI systems simply weren't good enough.

Whether they laid people off or chose not fill vacancies with experience, the net result is still the same. They replaced people with AI, expecting known imprecise tools to do precise work, and it was really fucking stupid.
