Not trying to defend the madman, but he killed no one and had a targeted list of people who he felt had wronged him. Your not wrong about the pain part but it wasn’t indiscriminate.
The part that he wasn’t trying to kill preschoolers that you keep implying. Not sure why you have to try to make him out to be a senseless killer when he didn’t actually kill anyone.
I think his worst offense was definitely shooting at law enforcement. I am glad he missed.
The only time that it is okay to drive a bulldozer through a preschool and an old folks home is when it is shut down, fenced off, and marked for demolition 2 weeks in advance.
Killdozer didn’t care if he killed preschoolers, elderly, or anybody else, the only reason he failed to kill people is because authorities made the correct call in evacuating rather than asking people to stay indoors.
He didn’t drive it through a preschool, he took out the library which had children that were evacuated before the building was damaged.

Obviously attempted first degree with the fixed gun mounted on the dozer that was fired at a police officer however unlikely it would have been to hit.
