I think it’s pretty unwise to blindly trust accusations like this, and there has clearly been astroturfing for and against this guy. Politico’s evidence when this story broke is her testimony, corroboration that she told this story to a third party, and that she went to therapy for it? I don’t think that alone is enough to jump to the conclusion this happened, but I also don’t know how you could prove this either way.

Pragmatically, if this seat ends up being the difference between a GOP controlled house and a Democratic controlled one, they gotta make a call soon to replace this guy if there’s even a shred of truth to it. But the timing and obvious political motivations gives me pause that this is substantial.
