    No one eats salads anymore…

Without fiber to move everything along, shit gets backed up and you get cancer.

I blame 90s all you can eat buffets where kids were encouraged “not to fill up on salads” like that was a bad thing when it was a cost effectiveness thing. Salad was/is cheap, but it’s something we need to eat fairly regularly.

My money is on Sugar. This increase coincides almost perfectly with the massive sugar fraud that happened starting in the 80s when the health finger was pointed at Fats and Salt. So while everything removed butter, they added in lots of sugar to keep processed foods palatable.

Regardless get your bum checked, I did my first one this year and I plan on doing it every 5 or so due to family history.

I mean, eating a salad is like brushing your intestines…

Sugar isn’t good, but there’s a bunch of junk in our food. And any of it hanging around in a colon is going to end badly. Even just a bunch of red meat leads to colon cancer if you’re not eating sugar.

Doesn’t matter what the problem is, eating salad is the solution

And any of it hanging around in a colon is going to end badly.

Red meat is fully digested in the stomach, so it isn’t hanging out in the colon.

Even just a bunch of red meat leads to colon cancer if you’re not eating sugar.

Do you have any data on red meat consumption in the absence of sugar/carbs to support that position?
