Like at first it kinda made sense because a lot of the movies they were remaking were 20+ years old, plus they were some of the ultimate classics like Beauty & The Beast, Cinderella, Jungle Book, Lilo & Stitch (I’m still not on board with that one).
Moana is barely over 10, and imo doesn’t warrant a remake. This is just another Rock vanity project just like everything else he’s done in the last 15 years.
Of all the soulless live-action remakes, this one seems to be the most pointless.

Totally agree, which is a reason he’s wearing the body suit. It’s not as easy for him to keep up with those movie muscles.
