    Yeah one size can’t fit all. I get that there is an average height but beyond that, there just isn’t an average woman.

    Hemming pants is easy. The easiest cheapest alteration. So even though I only need 32" inseam I think tall pants should have much more length through the rise, and 38" inseam. Regular pants should have an average rise and 34" inseam and petite a shorter rise and 32" inseam and those of us less leggy can get them hemmed.

    With my second set of kids Gap had tall maternity clothes, that was glorious. And I did need the pants hemmed.
