I’m not a mod and my opinion does not carry any authority, but I think there’s an argument to be made against editorialising titles under any circumstances.
If you allow editing titles so long as it doesn’t change the meaning, then that opens a whole subjective debate about what changes change the meaning.
If it doesn’t change the meaning, then what’s the point of the change?
