What if you found out your pet cat or birb was being controlled by one since one week before you adopted them?
Would you go get it removed or is it like the fungal hivemind is your pet now?
Tell that to anyone who has had a yeast infection or other fungal disease.

It’s certainly less common but it happens. Can also have fungus in the lung-us or under the surface of the skin (fungus lives on plant thorns and is transferred when someone or something gets scratched).
