            Are they really that much more unsafe than, say, a skateboard? Or an electric scooter?

            Right to repair shit is unforgivable though. 😔

                The link said that people wanted the ability to turn off haptic feedback, which was the feature added by the company after the recall.

                It alerts the user that the battery is low, which can cause accidents.

                That doesn’t sound like a right to repair issue. Sounds like the company is covering their ass in the worst case. Or they’re being subborn because they don’t want more of their users to die from misusing their tech, in the best case.
