The alleged sabotage included desecrating memorials to Polish victims of the UPA, the Ukrainian Insurgent Army that took part in the murder of tens of thousands of Poles during World War Two known as the Volyhnia massacre.
“The aim was to incite ethnic tensions between Poland and Ukraine,” Poland’s Internal Security Agency (ABW) said in a statement.
…

Once the war in Ukraine started (I mean the second, full scale phase) the Polish speaking internet was full of support for Ukraine. The “outraged UPA victims” needed a few days to recall that they hated Ukraine.
My guess is that the russian bot farms got their orders only after they realised the military victory won’t be fast enough.
Ah yeah, so families of polish victims laying still in shallow graves ( not only in Volynh ) are Russian bots? I know many of such families including mine. My grandmother was relocated late in 5x to Opole Silesia, half of her close family was murdered
What I am saying that those families got 100 times more vocal a few days after the war started and the original post is about the russian effort to spread the hate. If you dig deep enough you will always find someone who was hurt by a neighbour. The trick is to amplify their message when convenient.
Divide and conquer.
How does scratching old wounds help you to live and prosper now? Does it somehow resurrect the deceaced or help heal the traumas (readily instigated at the moment with questionable motives)?
Or rather, this somehow serves to vindicate [putin’s] militaristic agenda, the invasion and occupation [happening right now]?
Tell it to the Ukrainian president who named a unit after UPA as heroes of Ukraine. That’s how Germany would name SS as heroes of the Germany… Yes, Ukrainian provoked and what they expected? That Poland stays silent? + Nazi links of Ukraine were long discussed by main stream media long before war ( like BBC ) only silenced afterwards as not politically timed and correct

So Poland, Hungary, Romania should stay silent on the ethnic cleansing topic just because they have war but want joining European Union?
I could provide you scientific articles and news paper ones over and over on this topic which has been silenced . Then Ukrainian president chose to scratch it again. Yes, Ukrainian president not Polish
