      It’s worth it, I love old houses. You can’t get that kind of old growth wood anymore.

      All the time, right? Drafty AF. Looks like you’ve done some floors. NGL, even though they’re a pita, I love the original window. I remember as a kid being fascinated with the rope-pulley mechanism (no idea what that’s actually called). I love the shiplap. And I know of the issues, but arsenic-treated lumber lasts a long time. I’m glad you’re okay with it and hope you can stay on top of repairs. Thank you for good memories of a home overflowing with kinfolk, good, homegrown and home-cooked food, always too much to do and realizing it enough to sit on the porch and do nothing, when needed.
