Wait… I might be genuinely stupid here… but do North Koreans have internet access? Like, obviously they’re not stuck in the Stone Age or anything like that, but could a NK citizen, if given enough tech know-how to get around government surveillance, theoretically access, say, Google?
North Korea has its own intranet, essentially. About a decade ago, it got leaked on Reddit. Pretty mundane stuff. A news website, a recipe forum, etc.
And I imagine they can access the Chinese internet fairly easily
