Was psych boring? I certainly love reading about it, but it is useless for me to go to school for it, because I don’t want to work in that field. I haven’t learned to keep my emotions separate from other people’s emotions. If I were to pursue being a therapist, it would be hard to listen to people vent all day.
Psych is fascinating! But you can do precisely “jack” and “squat” with a bachelor’s, and I don’t have the temperament for academia so I’m not getting a higher degree, at least not in that field. So yeah, definitely don’t go into psych unless you’re prepared to get a master’s, absolute minimum.
