Tbh an eye for an eye.
The US and its allies have committed war crimes time and time again, actively disregarding international rule of law. As an American I can truthfully say we are too far insulated from the atrocities our gov commits and we condone or at least ignore them. There’s too many people far too comfortable with war so long as it doesn’t touch their comfy little western countries, and maybe if they actually felt the threat of it we might have some people willing to do something.
This approach is precisely what eventually gets you a nuclear war. If neither side cares about morals, if neither is willing to even try deescalating, and if both are fine slaughtering innocents - sooner or later you get destruction for everyone and everything.
It’s like somebody murdered a member of your family, so in retaliation you murdered a member of their family. Repeat 15 times and you’re all dead. For what? Satisfying your egos? In what world is that justifiable in any capacity? Or even morals aside - in what world is that at all helpful?

So? Again - one country commits war crimes, so others should too?

I’m not even American and I find this incredibly ignorant, as well as insulting to Americans. That’s how bad this part is.

Who is comfortable with war? Aside from ultra rich psychopaths for whom it’s beneficial. Many people don’t really know war, because their countries haven’t participated in one in nearly a century or longer. Is it their fault for being born in peaceful regions of the planet?
I don’t know what you expect here. This entire comment is just a bunch of random topics glued together in hopes they’ll magically fit and make sense. You offered an rxtremely simplistic and limited perspective, without contributing anything new, other than “yeah, fuck everybody, they deserve it”.

This reeks of privilege. Why do you think those regions are “peaceful” while others aren’t? Because of Europe and America. The peace is only a finite thing too anyway as capitalism contracts, fascism expands. That’s why there’s been such a rise in fascism in our ever-so peaceful countries.
Literally, if not for Western plunder and death, then the forever-war in the west-Asia would not be a thing. African countries would not be in a horrible state after centuries of exploitation (and are still actively being exploited!)
