On the other side of the coin, you have to really go out of your way to find colors of certain things that aren’t navy, grey, black, or white in Japan. I wear polos to work and I haven’t seen one outside those colors in at least a few years now. Part of the problem is the fact that I need to shop in the fat dude section (which was true even before I was a fat dude because normal shirts here aren’t designed for broad shoulders), but even in the rest of the store the color selections aren’t great. I also live in the ass end of nowhere, so I’m sure there’d be more selection in like tokyo.
Well, men’s clothes are more muted in general, and you’re out of the usual size range, so there’s going to be less choice … I have to admit, I don’t really look at men while out and about, so I’m just going off women’s clothing choices. And my opinion is formed from Vietnam, Singapore, and China
