Driving between them takes 5 minutes in a straight line. Safely walking between them, however, is a six-hour diversion through four unrelated towns, as opposed to the 30 or so minutes it would take in a straight line. Thanks to hostile architecture, I guess.


Yeah I mean just take a walk in pretty much any town or city in the US* and you will quickly see how everything was designed only with cars in mind and just the smallest nod to pedestrians. Like for anything more than crossing the street it is abysmal.
