      I remember Sabayon, which was Gentoo based. I liked it at the time, but compiling everything got old really fast.

        Gentoo now gives you the option to either compile or install a binary.

        Man, I tried Sabayon twice (both a long time ago) and quickly regretted it both times. In my experience, it was extremely fragile. I had used Gentoo at the time and had a mostly good time with it, and wanted to try something that set it up easily.

      Yes! I used it as my main distro for a period. These days I’m all about Aurora/Bazzite, but I think I’d like to try it again.
