The truth is, billion-dollar corporations go out of their way to brainwash the masses that these body types, that are entirely unachievable for the hyper-majority of the population, are THE sex standard. They use this to convince impressionable and desperate people alike to buy buy buy to try to look like this.
The celebrities/models who profit off of it like Ariana Grande are just as guilty. People wanna talk about how EDs warp people’s minds. However, I don’t think its rational to suggest Ariana, and every other major figure, isn’t aware of what they’re doing. She’s made references to it in social media, at least one if her new songs, and always constantly puts emphasis on her exposed bones in front of every available camera.
On the other hand people pretend that being 5 foot 4 and 130lbs is some impossibly thin unrealistic goal when twenty years ago you’d have been called fat. It’s definitely not fat, but it sure isn’t thin either.
Yeah it’s so fucked up, sex with someone that skinny is straight up painful, their bones cause bruises on you, there’s nothing sexy about banging a skeleton. Yet, these sick fuckers controlling the media want their stars like this, emaciated and fully under control.
