just copy and past the url of the post from the other instance in the search of the instance you are logged in
I tried searching for
lemmy.ml/post/1235585in my lemmy.world instance and it found notingInteresting. I did a test and I was able to find a post from another instance but maybe it was already known on my instance … Not sure, sorry
