    Yeah, but still getting those calls and the Bundesnetzagentur say ah sorry we can’t do anything.

    How about upgrading the infrastructure so you can? It’s been decades.

    So the law is there but it doesn’t work per se since there usually is no punishment as faking numbers is trivial or not pursued.

      I have both German and old Polish SIM card on my phone. The amount of robocalls I get on the Polish card is nuts compared to what I get on German. Polish is like once a week. On a German phone I get maybe one call per year from someone claiming to do surveys.

        Before the summer I got like 4-5 a day here in France 😵‍💫 There was some rule popping in and it’s way less now, hopefully even less soon 😮‍💨

        Hm I would say average one per month or week, and if the number once was in a phone book, more.

        Not saying it’s bad compared internationally! But for being illegal, it still happens often enough.

        Of course you can start to discuss from asking where the got the number etc but the best that will happen is them hanging up or cursing at you.

        I’ve blocked enough mostly not to be bothered, but can of course see the attempts.
